Middle School Chinese Continuing Program (Grades 6–8)
Class Time: Saturdays 10:40 AM–12:40 PM
Our Middle School Chinese Continuing Program is designed for students who already have a foundation in Chinese and want to continue developing advanced language skills through middle school.
The program combines Singapore Middle School Chinese textbooks, HSK 4 preparation materials, and STAMP test modules to help students strengthen reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in a structured and meaningful way.
Students will work on:
-
Reading longer passages and authentic materials
-
Writing organized paragraphs and short essays
-
Expanding vocabulary and grammar
-
Improving conversation and presentation skills
-
Building confidence in real-world communication
-
Preparing for STAMP proficiency testing and future AP Chinese study
This program is especially helpful for students pursuing the State Seal of Biliteracy pathway in high school. Through consistent practice and guided instruction, students develop stronger academic Chinese proficiency while maintaining interest and confidence in the language.
Depending on individual progress and outside practice, students in this program often work within the HSK 3–4 and STAMP Intermediate Mid to Intermediate High range.
