Volunteer Opportunities at Worldplus Learning Center

 

Worldplus Learning Center welcomes volunteers who would like to support children’s learning, cultural programs, camps, and community events.

Volunteering is a meaningful way to gain experience, build leadership skills, and make a positive impact in our community.

 

Who Can Volunteer

We welcome:

  • Middle school and high school students

  • College students

  • Parents

  • Community members

  • Adults interested in education, culture, or youth programs

Volunteers under 18 must have parent/guardian permission.

 

Volunteer Roles

Volunteers may help with:

  • Classroom assistance

  • Student mentoring

  • Reading support

  • Homework support

  • Chinese language program support

  • Arts and crafts

  • Summer camp activities

  • Cultural events

  • Office and administrative tasks

  • Event setup and cleanup

 

Volunteer Expectations

All volunteers are expected to:

  • Be respectful, responsible, and reliable

  • Follow staff instructions and safety rules

  • Use appropriate language and behavior

  • Support a positive learning environment

  • Avoid using cell phones during volunteer hours

  • Not show personal phone content, social media, videos, or games to students

 

For Student Volunteers

Student volunteers can gain:

  • Volunteer hours

  • Leadership experience

  • Mentoring experience

  • Experience working with younger children

  • Community service experience
